At Freckles Caribbean, we’re bringing a new-age twist to authentic Jamaican cuisine — with deep roots in traditional island cooking and a modern approach to flavour and presentation.
Our founder, Kai, has been immersed in the world of Caribbean food since the age of five, learning the craft in his parents’ kitchen and mastering the dishes we all know and love. His passion came into full focus during the COVID lockdowns, when he began cooking from home and serving his local community every week. What started as a way to share comfort through food quickly grew into something bigger.
That spark led to the creation of Freckles — a Caribbean takeaway born from love, hustle, and heritage. Now operating from a professional kitchen, Kai combines the bold, soulful flavours of Jamaica with contemporary cooking techniques and eye-catching presentation.
